The inside of the body shell was as rusty as the outside. I removed the rust with the angle grinder and treated the surface with rust killer then coated it with Hammerite rust beater. I cleaned up the the wooden members and repaired where required then painted them white so that they would show up on the pictures.
The finished chassis rolled out on slave wheels, I don't have any wheels for it so if anyone has a wheel or four, 17 inch diameter please let me know.

The roof orifice
This is the state of play with the roof, most of the components are in position. The sliding roof bit is now finished and will be fitted shortly.
As I have been restoring the car I have been writing a restoration manual. Part 1, the restoration story upto a rolling chassis is finished. If anyone is interested in buying one I am asking £10.
