The foot board is the first floor piece to be fitted made out of 1/2 inch plywood,
The floor is now finished.

I am now starting preperation for painting so I am doing plenty of rubbing down, applying primer and rubbing again.

Here is the car blinking in the sunlight, it has had one coat of etching primer, three coats of undercoat and four coats of colour. These are of coach quality enamel applied with a 2 inch brush. The bonnet is also painted but the paint job is now stopped until spring because the weather is changing and going colder, then I will give it three coats of varnish. In the meantime I am going to knock some sense into the mudguards which are bent and battered and badly corroded, I might have to make some new ones yet!

As I have been restoring the car I have been writing a restoration manual. Part 1, the restoration story upto a rolling chassis is finished. If anyone is interested in buying one I am asking £10.
