Here we are finished painting



A local garage quoted £1000 for a spray job, so I bought a couple of brushes and painted it myself. Using high quality brushes and coach quality paint and varnish I gave it three coats of primer, three coats of colour, and three coats of varnish; with a lot of elbow grease used on the rubbing down betwen each coat!
When making the running boards I made the RH. one first and made quite a good job of it, then I made another for the other side. Unfortunately I didn't think and made another identical to the first one and ended up with two for the RH. side!
