The engine room
A new bonnet hinge had to be fitted as the original had a split down the
cehtre. I welded two new hinge flaps onto the bonnet edges as can be seen in
the picture and a new chrome piece fitted between the radiator and the scuttle,
These were obtained off the shelf from a Morgan dealer and were identical to the
original except for the length which was cut to size.
The engine has been rebored with new pistons fitted, the crankshaft re-ground and fitted into new white metal bearings.
The battery was specially made, a six volt unit.
